A big welcome to all big and little dreamers!
Our website, Playmoolah.com is hosted by Play Moolah Private Limited, a Singapore company with offices at The Hub SG, National Youth Council Academy, 113 Somerset Road, Sinagpore 238165. On this site, with parental permission, kids can participate in a fun online environment, to learn about money through virtual and real dollars! At PlayMoolah, we also provide kids the ability to visualize and track what they do with their real money, but no real cash will be transacted through our platform.
What Information We Collect and How We Collect It
When users, including children under 13, register and create an account on PlayMoolah, we ask them to select a name for their avatar, a password, and to provide his or her parent or guardian’s email address. It is optional for children to key in their own email. In the course of using the site, children will be asked to enter their every-day savings or earnings to help them visualize the process and achieve their saving goals, or to enter how much they would like to donate to a charity of their choice.
As part of the registration process, we require demographic information only from parents, (gender, country of residence and birth date) and we encourage you to submit this information so we can provide you a more personalized experience. We limit the information we collect, both actively (i.e., what we ask kids) and passively (what we collect through use of web tracking mechanisms like "cookies") to that which is necessary for kids to take part in particular PlayMoolah game activities.
PlayMoolah is the sole owner of the information collected on playmoolah.com.
How PlayMoolah Uses the Information We Collect
Upon activation of an account, the information submitted will be used by Playmoolah to create a personalized experience and will allow the registered user to participate on the playmoolah.com. Parents can also sign up for their own parental account to monitor and track their child’s activities on the site.
Parental Rights. Parents and legal guardians of kids under 13 who are members of playmoolah.com have certain rights under COPPA, and PlayMoolah recognizes those rights. Parents/guardians can consent to collection and use of a kid's personally identifiable information (PII) without consenting to the disclosure of information to third parties. Currently the only identifiable information we collect from children is the parent email address.
Parents/guardians can review information their children have contributed to playmoolah.com, request that Playmoolah delete that information, and refuse to allow Playmoolah to collect further information from their kids by contacting our Customer Services department by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Parents should include their kid's username and the registered (parent's) email address in the email so we can better assist them with their inquiry or request. Playmoolah may ask additional questions or take other steps to verify the identity of parents/guardians before responding to a request to review or delete their kid's information, or a request to refuse further collection from kids.
