Stunning Entries from Singapore!

Last month, we announced our Financial Literacy Contest and launched the Singapore leg of the competition. One month later, we received some stunning entries from primary schools all over Singapore! View them all here.

At the prize awards ceremony held at the Singapore Flyer, we met all the little YouTube stars who played the role of news reporters, quizzing adults about their thoughts and practices on money management.

Speaking to some teams, students shared their creative process in storyboarding, asking the right questions, finding the courage to do so, and even learning how to shoot and post-edit videos, a project some described as being “more fun than homework”! In their quest to get their burning questions answered, they hope to have inspired other kids to get curious about money topics as well.

A big thank you to all our kid reporters, teachers, and parents who made these videos possible. We hope it was a fun learning journey for everyone (grownups included!).

The contest is now opened to children all over the world. Global entries will have to be submitted on our contest site by 14 May 2011. For entries from the United States, stand a chance to win a private tour of the federal bank! Can it get better than that?

Here are some of the note-worthy entries that we love :)

Haha! It is really interesting how we always take the ATM machine for granted. Never knew it’d be so intriguing for young ones. :D
